It was 5:30AM and I woke up an hour later, took a bath and train-ed to Dhoby.

It was 9 fluffing AM. 9 FREAKIN FLUFFING AM.

HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE I LAST STOOD UNDER SUNLIGHT IN TOWN?!

Gawd. Starbucks was completely deserted, no surprise.

I swear, the Cathay is a bad bad bad place to study. Very bad. Either that or we just lack self discipline. After all, I have the attention span of a squirrel.


We ended up catching Bedtime Stories at 10:45AM. 10 BLEEDING 45AM.

Unbelievable. I have never watched any movie before 12PM. Thanks for the movie yo, CC! My treat next time! :DDD

Bedtime Stories's really just humor for kids, sweet and cute. 3 out of 5 rating because I'm 56.8% a 7 year old kid and 43.96% a tween. Plus, I'mma sucker for Sandler's adorable goofiness.

I think the movie drained away whatever energy I had left in me cause I was a walking zombie after the movie.

Train-ed to Orchard and got mommy a cake from Rive Gauche. Never tried the cakes there before, they specialize in French & Japanese style cakes and pastries.

Thank gawd, Daddy came to fetch me after. I would prolly faint if I had to take the train home. D:

I shall leave out the part where I tried to be cool and smart with the ATM card today. I'm an absolute moron really. ROFL.

Mommy decided on a pretty simple birthday dinner at home. Steamboat, chocolate fondue and wine.



Rive Gauche's Strawberry Short cake is sekkkkkkks! (:

It's really good, just the right amount of sweetness. The strawberries are succulent and the cake's really moist and soft. They were generous with the layer of strawberries in the cake too. The whipped cream's light and there wasn't any "oily" after taste, think I tasted a tinge of vanilla in it.
